In the laundry world, transportation is one of the most important points to manage. Many times, the proper functioning of the laundry depends on it, internally because we improve the flow and facilitate the work of the operators, and externally because we ensure the quality of reception and delivery of the clothes.

Transportation plays a special role in the “cycle of use”. In the cycle of use of any sector we can find it at least on more than two occasions.

We are going to contemplate the transport system internally and externally in the laundry. For each of them, there is an appropriate transport system.

INTERNAL TRANSPORTATION

Internal transport refers to all types of carts and tubs, which we will need throughout the laundry washing and classification process. Internally, the transport process starts from the washing area (classified-washing), once the clothes are washed, we must transport them to the ironing and drying area.

For this process, we have several types of trolleys and tanks:

These tanks are mainly used in the discharge of washing machines and dryers and provide great resistance to use and to washing products.

Currently, improvements have been added to these tanks, creating adaptable remountable bottoms, to improve the ergonomics of use (Option). In other words, the working height is adapted so that it is always the most ergonomic for the worker. It is a system that adapts the measurement depending on the load.

For unloading washers/dryers, another widely accepted cart can be used, the mobile bottom cart, with a fabric lifting base:

Within the internal transport of the laundry, there is another type of tank, with a removable bottom, which has a more classification use in the uniformity zone (due to its ergonomics), but which can also be used in any of the aforementioned washing processes. It is the aluminium tank with lifting base:

There is the possibility of transporting the clothes internally or externally, classified and ironed, with shelving trolleys, which give great flexibility to store all types of clothes. It is a very practical cart to go directly to rooms or to the office with all the clothes in order.

EXTERNAL TRANSPORTATION

Once the clean clothes have been washed, folded, and classified, the laundry must deliver said clothes to the client/office. This is where the external transport begins (to the laundry). For this transport, the most common is to use role trolleys, of great capacity and proven durability where the clothes are protected.

There is a duality of use in these role cars. They are used for the delivery of clean clothes, and for the collection of dirty clothes. It is therefore essential to have good clothes collection and delivery trucks.

Role cars can be classified fundamentally according to their measurements.

Multiple sizes are currently manufactured, to fit both delivery trucks or vans, and the places where they must be delivered. The main role cars are:

Role carts can be customized with fabric covers (covers) to separate from the outside, different types of wheels to adapt to the types of soil and use of said carts, etc…

They can also be customized with interior trays, in order to improve logistics (eg: separate customers within the same cart), or with hanger bars, to bring uniformity to hangers.
